In my creative space today I try to stay in good mood by collecting light blue items around me..
old, new, used and light blue..

Gifts are ready

I've been working on making some tiny crocheted Flower Brooches lately.
On every purchase from my little Etsy-shop I add a small gift when shipping the order -these are perfect to surprise with.
I crochet, add some beads and sew a safetypin on the back of each one.

They are like my small 'babies': ..can't decide which color I like the most:

Daisy crocheted Gift Tags

I was trying some new combinations of colors..
These ivory white and green crocheted daisys gives me a pleasent feeeling of something vintage- good old days in grandmas kithen, the smell of an early spring morning..I'm pleased with the result!
I'll use them as gift tags, embellishment and maybe as Christmas decoration.

I met a nice priest the other day. We had an interesting conversation. As he was wondering what profession I have, I told him I'm an engineer in building constuction and indoor climate. And I was quick to add: Sorry, but there's no spiritual or sacred about my work at all. His answer to that was: Don't be so sure..

In my bowl today: Flowers!

In my bowl today there are flowers! Always in my creative space, I seem to have 'store-problems': baskets and tins are filled with stuff, and now I'm using 'candy-bowls' to put my crocheted flowers in!
This week I was happy to complete an order and send 42 bright colored flower appliques to Australia -so fun -and now I'm 'allowed' to crochet som more !!

Custom Order-Part 1! / Personlig beställning-Del1

Wow -Now I really have to tell the story:
Last year July 25, I got this fantastic request about a Custom Order to my Etsy-shop:

* We are officially placing the order for 100 red flowers with tiffany blue ribbon*

We were on our way on holiday, but I simply made some calculations, rushed throuh every yarn- and supply-shop in Stockholm City.
I bought red yarn, tiffany blue ribbon and seadbeads..and I started to crochet.....
'My creative space' were wherever I went last summer: on the boat, in the summer-house, in the car

Nu bara måste jag berätta historien om de 100 Röda :
Förra året 25 Juni fick jag en fantastisk förfrågan om en Personlig Order från USA, via min Etsy-shop.
Vi var på väg på semester, så jag beräknade som hastigast åtgång för material, rusade igenom varenda garn- och handarbetsbutik i Stockholms City med en fart. Jag fick tag i 9 nystan rött garn, 5 rullar ljust turkosblå sidenband, seedbeads och sytråd...och började virka...
Beställningen löd:
* Härmed beställer vi officiellt en order på 100 röda virkade blommor med tiffany blå band*
'Mitt arbetsum' den sommarn blev varhelst jag befann mej: på sjön på båten, i stugan, i bilen..

Always looking for new ideas in storage, organizing and displaying! This new idea just came up to me in my messy creative space the other day: I use the nail-polish to display and collect rings. This combination seem to be so easy but very delicious. Whats your newest idea in collecting?!

My Creative space: New project

In my creative space this week I continue crocheting flowers for some new ideas. I will make some home decoration: Garlands! Just crocheting the flowers together on a string, and the garland is ready to be a pretty detail in the sleepingroom, at the dinnertable, at the fireplace or cheer up a party..Just use your imagination !

I min kreativa hörna denna vecka fortsätter jag att virka blommor i bomullsgarn till nya utmaningar: Jag bara virkar ihop blommorna på en lång tråd och vips: en girlang att dekorera med i hemmet. Använd den till att hänga på väggen i sovrummet, dekoration till middagsbordet och partyt eller häng den vid öppna spisen . Bara fantasin sätter gränser!
